On the morning of Celene + David's session, we had to switch locations twice. When we had originally set the date and location for the session, I had overlooked the fact that it was the same day as the Des Moines' marathon. I was driving around, trying to get to the alternate location, but all the roads headed that way were closed. We ended up settling back on the original location, and we just snuck around through side-streets to the back entrance of the park. Through all of this run-around, Celene + David remained calm, and showed up ready to make some great portraits.

There was a thick sheet of fog that morning, that slowly lifted as the sun came out. Celene's daughters came along as well, and we captured some photos of the family as a whole, and then the gals would wander off to explore the woods around us.

It ended up being a lovely morning shooting with David + Celene, and I am so looking forward to their wedding next Spring.
